Rocky Mountain Recorders is THE place for ADR!

ShareThis
Another great ADR session with Jeffrey Donovan for Burn Notice. For those who aren't familiar, ADR is the process of re-recording on camera script lines and matching lip sync. The idea is to make it sound as if it was recorded on set. Using the same microphones as the production crew gets you a very close match. More info on ADR:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubbing_%28filmmaking%29

And check out the final season of Burn Notice Thursdays 9/8c on USA Network!

The 29th Kegs with Legs hosted by RMR in Denver, Colorado was very fun and a huge success thanks to all that came! The live band "Moon Don't Shine," wacky trikes, giant jenga, drum circle, and de-humanizing chamber were all major hits at last nights event! We all hope everyone had a great time at the "Just Play" theme at RMR and a huge congrats to Eric Anolin with Crosspoint Productions for winning the Les Paul Special guitar from the photo contest! Thanks for the submissions!

Father's Day Gift Certificate!

ShareThis
For those of you out there thinking, "Oh man! Father's Day is this weekend and I don't have a gift!" Or, "I'm sick of buying the 'Best Dad in the World' another gift card," well it's not too late AND we have an idea FOR you (but you can take credit, we're okay with that)..

How about a gift certificate at RMR to give him a chance to record in a professional recording studio? Score! Plus, it's hard to believe he'll forget a gift like this (unlike that set of golf balls). Win, win!

As a professional recording studio in Denver, we have recorded artists from Rihanna to Big Head Todd. Wouldn't it be cool to tell him he's going to record where they did? Wouldn't it be cool to give him a taste of his own awesomeness?! Yeah, we think so too.

Whether he plays in a band, an instrument or he can belt out those songs you want to listen to- But you think, "Awe Dad, you're embarrassing me!" Well now you can let him know he's not so bad after all.

But hey, you only have until Sunday to show him how much you love him, and we've done half the work for you, so don't miss out!

Plus we'll hook you up with a smokin' deal. So make it a Father's Day you and your wallet won't regret. posted: June 12, 2013

Spring in the step..

ShareThis
Nothing like a good motown music recording and Newby back in the office today at Rocky to put a spring in our step! Great way to spend a cloudy day in Denver! No dreariness in sight today at the studio, just a good ol' relaxing day with good music and even better company. And it's not even Friday yet.  posted: May 9, 2013
