It’s happening. I’m turning the keys over to the kids! After nearly a year of preparation and planning, the intrepid staff at Rocky Mountain Recorders, headed by new owner, Chris McNaughton, will be seamlessly assuming responsibility for operations of the studios. For myself, the transition out of ownership and daily responsibilities will be slow and steady. I will maintain a close, continuing association with Rocky and our fantastic clients. So if you simply MUST have me engineer/produce your audio projects, simply request my services through Rachel Iwata, Rocky’s studio manager, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.

I have every confidence that this unmatched staff, that has really been the hallmark of our 27 successful years, will continue the high level of efficient, forward thinking, creative sound production and associated services that you have come to expect from RMR. I plan on “spending more time with my family” and enjoying my remaining years of vitality knowing the “care and feeding” of my life’s dream is in good hands. One of the best parts of this transition will be that it fulfills another part of that dream… to see Rocky Mountain Recorders continue to be the absolute best audio production facility that Denver and the Rocky Mountain Region has ever known.

Paul Vastola

As the new business owner, I look forward to continuing the legacy the Vastola Family has built. Staff will remain the same, the standard in service will meet and exceed your expectations, and we’re going to have a very good time. Let’s have some fun!

Chris McNaughton
