All About That Bass

Who needs fire extinguishers when you have ample amounts of subwoofers? Ahem- I mean, we might have one lying around here somewhere.

Two electrical engineer students at George Mason University have found you can extinguish flames using low-frequency sounds. Since sound waves are basically blasts of air, their invention smothers flames with oxygen, instead of water or foam. For all intents and purposes it's not much to listen to, but it gets the job done and can be utilized in so many ways!

Or maybe I'm just geeking out over how cool this is.
